Ranchlands Motel

I was driving from Denver Colorado to Bismarck North Dakota alone in the middle of the night. I wasn’t familiar with the route and I was on empty. I entered this little town where the gas station was closed. I had no where to go and I stopped here for help. I was given the best treatment I could ever hope for. I was given gas by the owner, food and a discounted room. The room was very lovely and clean. I would recommend everyone to stay here when passing through or planning a trip. It’s important to support small businesses and good hearted people <3

We stayed here for the night on our way back home from a trip. Very clean, very neat and the owners were just so wonderful! Will be staying there again!

I have stayed here several times when the weather was bad. The owners are great and the rooms are too. Never had anything bad happen when I stayed. Except for tons of snow. Don't hesitate to make a reservation

Great place to stay! Owner is super nice, and appreciates the hunting community. Owner allowed my wife, and I to hunt all morning before checking out of our room without rushing us. Good crowd that stays here, and no one messes with your stuff. Can’t say enough good things about this place, and the owner. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

My brother stayed here about a month ago and said he highly recommends! Nice, clean rooms and the management is incredible! Friendly and very inviting! Can't wait for the kids and I to go stay next time for a little vacation.

Was coming to town to look at a car. The gentleman from whom I may be buying told me to stay here. I got in late (11:45 PM), and the lady (Annette) that answered the phone and took care of me was wonderful! Sweet, helpful, friendly, funny, kind and helpful. That kind of customer service is as much a throwback as this type of motel! Don't expect the RITZ, because you won't get it out this way. But the place is one of those timeless little privately owned motels from an era where people went on vacation to see the great outdoors and the rooms were small but serviceable places to sleep! I stay at a lot of these places as I get to travel by car a lot and explore. And though you may not know from the outside, this was the cleanest I've been in. There was NO must old building smell, which is difficult to control in one of these old buildings no matter how many costs of KILZ and paint you use. The room was neat and clean, the bathroom a perfect time capsule of days gone by, and the beds were made well, the linens and toiletries presented well, etc. And don't get me wrong-there is nothing wrong with the outside! But this is a remote small old farm town in Western Nebraska, and the whole town just had that old, comfy, work, aged look. But, again, the inside was surprisingly nicer than if have guessed. For all of these reasons, as Annette hooked, I'll be tempted to come back if I'm ever remotely in the area again. Maybe spend a couple of days just seeing what else DOES happen in this little town. Thanks to the owner's and staff for such a great little place!

Nice, big, clean, rooms. The room was SUPER clean and was large. There was a fridge, coffee pot, and microwave in the room. All were very clean and worked great. Also, they had a lot of TV channels and free Wi-Fi. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.

We were on our way to South Dakota to move up here. Had a tire on the verge and needed to stop for the night. Everything was closed but the owner at this motel had a room and a nice one at that, even fed us from his own kitchen as we had a toddler and no food on us. He’s a very kind hearted man. I’d recommend his hotel to anyone and I hope y’all decide to stop in and support this motel. Very thankful Travis Chilson
